I focus on gut health, hormones, and lifestyle medicine - helping you feel better without falling into cycles of restrictive diets or endless supplements. You get longer appointments, practical strategies, and personalized care that’s grounded in evidence and real-life experience.
As a speaker, consultant & university faculty, I spend a lot of time reading research and turning it into practical & useable information for companies, students, healthcare providers and YOU. The goal is to have the best information turned into a strategy that suits your lifestyle & goals.

Yes! Many of my patients come in after being told “your labs are normal” or “it’s just aging.” I offer a fresh perspective - exploring gut health, hormones, energy, and mood through longer appointments, optional focused testing, and personalized treatment plans. We can’t guarantee anything but many people come to see us for exactly this reason - they’re stuck in the healthcare system but know something is wrong.
-
Definitely - if you want to. I believe in collaborative care and am happy to coordinate with your family doctor, specialist, or other practitioners to keep your care aligned and cohesive.

Your first visit is about 50–60 minutes, focusing on your health story, symptom history, goals, and next steps. We’ll review any relevant testing and start building a realistic, tailored plan - often with initial action steps in the first visit including potentially testing, supplements, dietary planning, lifestyle management or hormone prescription.

We offer access to conventional lab testing (like LifeLabs), along with gut-focused options like H pylori screening and calprotectin testing. Testing is always optional and only recommended when it can meaningfully guide your care.

Yes - I'm certified in perimenopause & menopause care through the Menopause Society (previously North American Menopause Society - NAMS), which is considered the gold standard for evidence-based menopause education. This certification ensures I stay current on the latest research and best practices for perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopausal care. My approach combines research-backed strategies, practical lifestyle guidance, and collaborative care, so you get clear, credible support during this stage of life.

Yes, while NDs with prescribing authority can prescribe topical bioidentical hormones, we cannot prescribe conventional pharmaceuticals like oral contraceptives, IUDs, or oral progesterone (which is required for women who have a uterus). I regularly collaborate with family doctors and specialists to ensure you get comprehensive care, especially if prescription options outside of my scope are appropriate. My role is often to help with lifestyle strategies, vaginal health, risk assessment, testing and symptom management, alongside your primary care team. I can support you in understanding what you need and how to get that taken care of, whether that’s with me or in collaboration with another healthcare provider.

As an ND in Ontario with prescribing authority, I can prescribe topical bioidentical hormones (estrogen, progesterone), desiccated thyroid, and certain other regulated natural health products. My prescribing approach is always based on individual needs and clear goals, blending research with clinical experience.
